Microbes are responsible for positive and negative health-effects of the host. Pathogens cause various disease to its host while gut microbes play on an important role to host health, immediately after birth and throughout the host’s life. Interaction of host with microbe is defined as how microbes sustain themselves within host organisms on a molecular, cellular, organismal or population level. Such interactions are so complex and not well defined at molecular level as well In-silico. This module will focus various computational and machine learning approaches to identify such interactions.
Major topics covered in this module are: 1. Brief Introduction 2. Host-microbe interaction 3. Computational and machine learning methods
